Baron Andre Bedoux
His Lordship Andre Bedoux is the youngest son of a prosperous noble merchant family, the son of Duke Francois Bedoux. Destined never to be heir, and lacking the temperament for war or the clergy, he instead chooses to spend his time enjoying the wider world, carousing about and spending his father's money.
His family, for their part, are more than happy to spend whatever it takes to keep him busy and away from the family's estate and the Imperial Court. His sister is courting the crown prince, and they don't want his antics to sour the potential of a stronger tie to the Royal bloodline.
He's managed to supplement the meager allowance he's given through writing treatises on the various features of the realm.
