Wyrmpuncher History
Team 751 was formed in response to the growing spate of dragon related violence plaguing Turonia. Prime Minister Renard Stevens authorized the hiring of an additional CAD Team some time in January of 1209. After two months of sifting through thousands of applications, the DDA hired five new agents dubbing them CAD 751. The new team quickly adobted the nickname "The Wyrmpunchers".
751 didn't have to wait long before seeing action. Less then a week into their career the Wyrmpunchers were sent to the Far North Territory (FNT) to investigate the a rash of kobold attacks on the small town of Cutter's Hold, and the dissapearance of a group of mine workers. After interviewing the locals, the team traveled up the mountain to the mine. Along the way they found a kobold warband slaughtering a seemingly peaceful group of goblins. Following a short battle, the agents interrogated one of the dying kobolds to find that its tribe had taken over the mine to make a home for their "god", and attacked the Cutter's Hold in order to gather treasure for him.
When the team finally reached the Ironbeard Mine, they found it completely over run with kobolds who had already begun to alter the architecture. After fighting their way to the bottom, the Wyrmpunchers found a white dragon wyrmling at the head of the tribe. After long and bloody battle, the agents killed the beast and the remainder of the kobolds, but found no sign of any of the miners.
The Wyrmpunchers were caught in an enormous blizzard on their journey back to Cutter's Hold. Thanks to the stalwart Tebrik, the team was able to push through the punishing wheather and return to town. Their much deserved rest was interrupted by an attack by white dragon. Despite the beast's magical training the agents were able to defeat it, and in fact knock it unconcious thanks to the devestating punches of Balasar.
Following a hunch the team revisited the home of Werner Jurgaar, the represntative for one of the diamond companies that was interested in the Ironbeard Mine. A short search revealed a secret basement which Werner was using as a base of operation for the doomsday cult he was leading. The Wyrmpunchers interrupted thier capstone ritual and ended up taking Werner into custody.
