What’s your name?

Claudette Davenport.

How did you survive until now?

I uhm... it was pretty hard. I can't really go outside for very long during the day cause of my condition, so I didn't really have much hope until some of the others from school came by to see if I was okay and stuff. We all grouped up once we realized there wasn't anyone else adult left, and the rest of the kids weren't really taking it well, so we figured it best to leave... We started up in Toronto and just sorta ended up moving down here over time, once supplies in an area dried up we went on to the next town. By the time we made it here those... things started showing up, so we decided to stay and try to help. I couldn't really do much until we found out about the Anchor thing, so I'm trying my best at that to make up for all the times the others have protected me.

Have you been a member of the group for a long time and, if not, how did you join?

Well, my group from the start, with Lucy and them. But by the time we got down here it was only her, me, and a few of the others. We ended up staying here because of the monsters, like I said... It certainly at least feels like home here, more than it did constantly being on the move, anyway...

How did you become an Anchor?

Lucy was selected to be one of the pilots originally, and they figured we had the best chance together... it worked a while, I guess, but uhm... well, the inevitable happened, eventually... I haven't done it since then, but the doctor sat me down and told me I had the chance to help more, and that they needed it, so uhm, I'm gonna try again.

Why are you an Anchor?

I guess it's because I'm clingy?... I just sorta get attached to people really easily, even before everything happened. And I uhm... I guess I wanna do what I can to help those people, even if it's something like that. I can't really do anything else, so I guess I gotta, right?
