How did you survive until now?
Well... Mostly because of Jessie. All because of Jessie. But she isn't here right now. Not anymore. And she won't be coming back. It's just me, and all of these... other people.
Have you been a member of the group for a long time and, if not, how did you join?
They think I'm here because I can't do anything for myself. Sometimes I don't even come out of the old boiler room... Lock the door and just sit there. I can take being hungry, just so they don't look at me like I'm... worthless. I'm not good with people.
How do you feel about piloting an ANIMa?
But I am good at this. I don't know... I mean, I don't know if it gains us anything. I don't care about what's going on out there. I don't care that we lost our deadbeat dad. I don't care about doing anything more than just surviving... I just, want to be something. And maybe, just maybe, she's out there... I don't care about any of the risks, I don't care about what it might do to me. I don't care.
Why are you a pilot?
Because I don't need anybody to hold me up anymore.
