The Attendants to the Throne

Directly beneath the Sun King are the Attendants, also known as the Thrones. They are the only members of the clergy to meet with the Sun King regularly, and besides his mundane servants, the only people in the world to see the Sun King outside of his ceremonial garb. There are never more than 32 Thrones at one time, and they are promoted internally, 16 each from the Crowns and the Masks.
