The Risen Bride

Mary Magdeline not only was married to Jesus, but was pregnant with his child. A former prostitute who became the Queen of Holy Land before Jesus' capture and death, she was known for her beauty, cruelty, and wantonness. However, before she could give birth to the child, Judas Iscariot drowned her in the bathtub after being paid 30 pieces of silver by John the Baptist out of jealousy that Jesus was giving his affections to Mary rather than him.

In Ravenloft

Mary appears as a slightly bloated woman with soggy bluish skin. She is totally nude, with wild and knotted black hair. Her eyes burn a bright red, and her face is slowly rotted. She has a wire mask over her face, and snuffles everywhere she goes, seeking out the UnRisen Lord's body. Her fingernails are black and the flesh is pulled back, showing cruel talons that she uses to rend apart living victims. She has an iron collar around her neck, and a single barbed wire that extends from the collar and ends in a bloodstained wooden dowel.

She is usually controlled my Luke, the Fisher of Men, as they search for the body of the Risen Lord or enemies of the Cult of the Pain God.

Mary can sniff out her targets as long as they have passed that area within a week, and although she does not speak, she does growl and pantomime.

Unknown to Luke, she will often lead him into ambushes as well as is searching for her unborn child which vanished.

Cult of the Harlot

Usually found among gutter prostitutes as well as nobility engaged in debauchery, the Cult of the Harlot seeks to dominate politics as Mary had started to dominate the UnRisen Lord.

Worship of Mary grants divine spells as if the caster was 2 levels lower than normal to a minimum of 1st level.
