Racial Backgrounds

Abandoned Mine Escapee

You grew up in a mine, where you ate the metal ores and dodged the angry miners. Why did you leave? Did the mine collapse? Was it just mined out? Maybe the miners finally had enough of you eating all the good stuff. Or perhaps something bigger and meaner moved in.

Associated Skills: Athletics, Dungeoneering, Nature

Outcast Monster

You were never really accepted by your fellow rust monsters. Why was that? Maybe you were the runt of the litter. Did you have to steal food to survive? Did you get into fights? Maybe you left of your own accord when you were old enough. Or were you driven out?

Associated Skills: Stealth, Thievery

Rustsmith

You put your natural skills to use creating things. Do you prefer creation over destruction? Do you see them as being equal? What kinds of things do you make with the residuum you make? Are you off adventuring to provide your companions with support? Or are you a capable warrior by yourself?

Associated Skills: Endurance, Perception

Racial Paragon Path: Dweomer Eater

"Rust both defiles and consumes, gnawing and creeping, and at last eats out the very heart and substance of the metal."

Prerequisite: Rust Monster
