Norsk Mining Station

The Norsk Corporation created a line of stations in the early 2300's in order to establish a template for quick and cheap(er) exploitation of mineral rich systems that they had won access to. They were quickly dubbed the Norsk 'Mining' Class because they were almost always seen above planets that had been opened up for that exact reason. As a class, they have a powerful suite of computer systems meant to watch over the early stages of a colony, as well as all aspects of trade, economics and planning that might be needed. It has also distinguished itself thanks to its large warehouse arrays and docking spaces, designed to quickly unload an load ships moving material back and forth from the colony. Norsk Mining stations are also nearly ubiquitous in southern USSGL and northern Alliance territory, and many traders cut their teeth on ore runs to these kind of orbitals.
