Mounted Fort
From Traditional Games Wiki
Mounted forts are elaborate structures that are carried upon the backs of sizeable beasts, providing a military platform that gives an unparalleled vantage point on the battlefield. Ranged attackers - such as crossbowmen - may take advantage of mounted forts to keep out of reach of melee attackers, relying upon their beast's natural durability and savagery to keep them protected.
