Racial Backgrounds

Bad Omen

You were born from a black egg, or upon a leyline, or during a thunderstorm. This makes you a bad omen. Have you ever suffered from bad luck? Or do you have better than usual luck? Maybe you have unnatural talents in the arcane arts. Did your status as a bad omen get you drafted into the service of a god? Perhaps you became a prophet to your people.

Associated Skills: Arcana, Religion

Solitary Crow

You never had much of a flock to back you up before. Why were you on your own? Maybe you were a hermit. You could be an orphan. Do you know who your parents were? Did you live out in the wild, or in the city? Did you have a roost of your very own, hidden away from the rest of the world? Why are you adventuring now?

Associated Skills: Endurance, Nature, Streetwise

Wingleader

You were the leader of your flock, tougher and smarter than all the rest. What you said went, no questions asked. Are you still the leader? If not, what happened? Maybe you're on a quest on behalf of your people. How worried about them are you? Do you think they'll be all right without you? Perhaps you left someone behind who you cared about.

Associated Skills: Diplomacy, Intimidate

Racial Paragon Path: Blackwing

"If bad be the raven, his company is no better."

Prerequisite: Kenku
