To die a good death is the highest honor in Orc society, an Orc who dies of dread disease or to a pathetic lesser race is just another corpse, left as food for the ravens. But an Orc who dies slaying a dragon, an Orc who breaks through a castle wall to slay the king and topple the empire? This is his destiny, and he shall never be forgotten for it. Some humans believe that there is an eternal battlefield that all who venerate the gods of war are brought to when they die, Orcs believe that your death determines your rank in the endless siege. An individual Orc is nothing until he can prove his worth, the average Orc rides with a horde, and works in numbers to obtain a good death and the highest ranks in the afterlife.

Some Orcs are not content to be part of a faceless horde, to take the cities that are not strong enough to stand, some Orcs will make their own good death, and they will make damn sure to have several lesser races on hand to witness it. The pride of the solitary Orc is legendary, and he will almost always feel vindicated in it, for a lesser race to ask for help or even to take it unasked is proof of his superiority. Orcish adventurers are rare but not unheard of, and certainly while young Orcs are brought up with the legends of sieges and the sagas of the greatest clans, the highest honors and the sweetest songs are for the Orcs whose deaths are greatest.

Orcs will also be half orcs. Grognard and Gamer will explain why.
