Goliath

Goliath was a massive construct built by the wizards of the city of Gath by taking the bodies of defeated Philistines and melding them into a 40 foot tall flesh golem animated by the angry souls of those slain on the field of battle. He was slain by David's troops on the field of battle, and buried. However, his body was transferred to Ravenloft, where he lays beneath a fifty foot burial mound. It requires the Skull of David to control.

It is awoken at times by the Powers of Ravenloft, sent out to cause mayhem and destruction, and occasionally can be awoken by the death curse or desires of particularly zealous Priest of the Pain God.

Goliath appears as a massive, rotting humanoid, with too smooth skin, a mop of various colored hairs atop his head, a mouth full of lions teeth, and rotted bronze plates hammered into his flesh. He wears rotted bronze armor of the roman era, carries a massive sword, and has a large bronze shield.
