Eladrin (My Dearest Clarebelle)

The Eladrin have only recently begun to immigrate to America from Asia, which has opened its ports to western ships. America is only all too egger to welcome the Eladrin who provide both manual and skilled labor. Animosity still exists between the Eladrin and their cousins the Elves, who split with each other long ago over religious disagreements that eventually led to both races being banished from the Fey Wild. The Eladrin like many other of the races that have come to America seeking a new home, struggle with the need to belong to this new land and the desire to maintain their cultural identity.
