Racial Backgrounds
Deposed Overlord
You were once a ruler of lesser beings, controlling your own small empire and well on your way to becoming a true eye tyrant. What went wrong? Were your minions slain by outsiders, and you forced to flee? Or perhaps your lackeys were fed up of your callous attitude. Have you learned you lesson? Are you out for revenge? Is building an empire still important to you?
Associated Skills: Insight, Stealth
Nefarious Researcher
You enjoy taking things apart in order to see how they work, including living things. Perhaps especially living things. Do you have a goal? Or do you just find it entertaining? Maybe your studies into nature have pushed you into studying the arcane as well. Are you out exploring the world for more test subjects? Perhaps you have a specific subject in mind.
Associated Skills: Heal, Nature
Patrician
You are an elder statesman of the dungeon, full of years of knowledge and bristling with connections to key figures in the under-politics of the world below. Are you crafty and cunning? Do you play games with people? Perhaps you have a greater design for the world that nobody else knows about. Do you look for personal gain or the greater glory? Do you find wars boring and unprofitable? What are your schemes?
Associated Skills: Diplomacy, History, Streetwise
Associated Languages: Draconic, Goblin
Racial Paragon Path: Eye Tyrant
"Any excuse will serve a tyrant."
