The 'official' IRC Channel for Traditional Games is #partyhard on synIRC.
Dicebot
#partyhard has a dicebot, foxxbot, run by foxxtrot. The bot is based on the current CVS of mozbot.
Dice Rolling
The syntax for a roll command is as follows: 1@2#3d4h5l6i,7 Where
- is the number of times to repeat the roll, on a single line
- is the target number of the roll
- is the number of dice to roll on the roll
- is the number of sides each die will have
- is the number of high dice to drop
- is the number of low dice to drop
- is the number of times to repeat the roll, each on it's own line.
The 'd' can be one of the following:
- d means roll normal dice
- o means roll open dice, where you reroll a die if it's equal to the number of sides on the die
- s means roll WEG d6 dice (named for the Star Wars system), where the first die is "Wild" and all others are normal
- e means roll EABA dice. Where you only keep up to 3 dice.
In addition, aliases are supported for common dice rolls. To see them, /msg foxxbot aliases

Other Dicebot Services
- Wishlist: For things that you would like added to the bot. To add to the wishlist, just /msg foxxbot wish <text of wish> and it will store the wish, for me to peruse later.
- Spellchecker: Add (sp) or (sp?) after a word you're unsure of the spelling of. foxxbot will use the power of the INTERNET to discover potential correct spellings.
- FortuneCookies: Add cookies with 'foxxbot, add cookie <cookie_text>' To get a cookie, just 'foxxbot, cookie'
- Lastseen: Just !seen or !lastseen <username> to get the time and channel that person was last seen talking on. This is a case-sensitive search.
- Conversions: Foxxbot can convert between many types of units:
- Actually, I don't know how to use this yet. Ask foxxbot for help on Conversions, and try to figure it out. That's what I'm doing.
- Currency Converter: Just foxxbot, currency <value> SYM/SYM. Symbols are the standard symbols for currency types, and a full list can be found on xe.com
- Translations: Uses babelfish to provide translation services. Just translate from <lang> to <lang> <text>.
- Valid languages are: en,fr,it,de,es
